Join Enlighten Yoga as Amani teaches the first women-centered Registered Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training in the Southeast area! This is an in-depth and comprehensive 120 hour training that combines the tradition of yoga as it relates to prenatal and post-natal, with the science of Ayurveda. This is an opportunity to not only further explore your knowledge of yoga and Ayurveda, but also to celebrate and empower women, of all shapes, colors, sizes, and times of life!
Each module is designed to build knowledge and confidence for those interested in teaching and caring for women, covering the preconception, pregnancy, birth, and postpartum stages of womanhood. Topics covered will include sequencing; assisting and adjusting and modifications for pregnancy, postpartum and Moontime; subtle body, anatomy and physiology; herbal healing, diet, nutrition and lifestyle; mantra, mudra and meditation; fertility and infertility. We will also discuss ways to further cultivate community and connection.
This training is open to all, especially if you have an interest in serving and supporting women (nursing, midwifery, social justice, trauma, bodywork, etc), or are looking for ways to cultivate healing in yourself.
The RPYT Program consists of 5 weekend modules. In addition to these modules, students will be expected to observe and teach prenatal classes and complete all reading and writing assignments.
